Programme logic
The chain from problem to change. We state it publicly so that it cannot be rewritten after the fact.
Problem
Ukrainian psychotherapy is divided by school: practitioners of different modalities rarely talk to one another, and good information about mental health is either too academic or reduced to social-media advice. As a result, people do not understand their own condition and postpone seeking help, while practitioners work in isolation and burn out.
What we do
We create a cross-modal space for exchange (Talks), educational formats with supervision and intervision (School), and a public-education line — a journal of evidence-based material written in human language.
Immediate outcomes
Practitioners of different schools know one another and have a working channel for exchange. Practitioners receive regular supervision. Audiences have access to material with a stated level of evidence and without stigmatising language.
The change we are working towards
Cross-modal dialogue becomes the professional norm rather than a rare conference format. Seeking help ceases to be a socially marked act. Neurodivergence is described as difference rather than brokenness — both in the consulting room and in public conversation.
How we measure results
Indicators are fixed at the outset rather than adjusted to fit the outcome. Data are collected quarterly. As of today the programme is at the community-formation stage, so all values are starting points, not achievements.
| Indicator | Now | Target, first year |
|---|---|---|
| Community members | forming | the first circle of members |
| Modalities represented in the community | — | at least five different approaches |
| Talks held | 0 | a regular cycle of meetings |
| Participants in educational formats | 0 | the first School groups |
| Journal publications | 0 | a regular public-education line |
| Share of material citing research | — | 100% of material on method effectiveness |
We do not publish reports «by intention». Where the table says zero, it means zero — not a hidden achievement. The Organisation's first reporting period is 2026; the annual report will be published on the reporting page once approved by the General Meeting.
Requesting data
Until the first full annual report is published, any donor or partner may request interim data at any time — media@wearesyntonia.com. Ways to support the programme are set out on the support page.
